Issue Categories

Many of my issues won't accept Category while many of the issues accept it easily.

In other words, I want to give a category to some of the issues, in the 'List' view, I click on 'category' and choose from the 2 categories I have pre-set. Yet, the categories appear quickly and disappear. I have tried this at different times and with different users, nothing changes.

Please suggest a solution that have worked for yourself.

@Hazha.ahmed is this happening to a specific issue types? if so have you added the category field to those issuetypes? you can check this by going to your project settings > find to the issue type in which you can't set up the category field > see if category field is added:
