We have 4 JSD agents (full time), some of our Deployment Team members are required to stand in for JSD agent when they are sick or not at work. Deployment Team members are part of JS license. Do we have to license deployment members as JSD agents. ?
During the stand in period the "temp users" need full access as JSD agent

for a team member to interact with a Jira Service Desk ticket (change its status, post public comments, ...) you do need a Service Desk Agent licence.
What you could do is remove the agent that is sick / on holidays from the JSD Agent group and add your Deployment team member to the group instead.
