Hi, I'm Hailey.

I'd like to know if I can grant JIRA administrator privileges except for user management. Do you have this kind of function?

hi hailey.yun@balancehero.com  Jira does not have that level of granularity in the  admin permissions. A jira administrator permission are not editable  Once look At the screen shot

Hi hailey.yun@balancehero.com ,

There are 2 different administrator roles in the system

  • JIRA System Administrators
  • JIRA Administrators

People who have only the JIRA Administrators permission cannot perform functions which could affect the application environment or network. This separation is useful for organizations which need to delegate some administrative privileges (e.g. creating users, creating projects) to particular people, without granting them complete rights to administer the JIRA system.

I believe user management is part of both roles
