Jira Service Desk Ticket Fields

Kurt Goodridge March 5, 2019

We are just starting out with JSD and have created a JSD project and it generated the service desk.  I navigated to the following ticket type and wanted to edit the canned fields.  One of the combo box fields called Impacted Services.  I want to be able to add a service we actually employ.  Where can I locate this field to make the change?

Field:  Impacted Services

Where do I go to edit this field?  I have tried Jira Settings-issues-Custom fields and cannot find the field.

If it is not a custom field it is most likely a project component.  You should look there and see if that is what they are using.

I looked under custom fields and that particular one is missing.  I open the Service Desk project, settings,  Request types - applications, edit fields on "upgrade or change a managed system", and I can see the field, but I cannot edit the properties such as change the combo box list.  If I go into the menu on the left, I see fields, and click on that, and it takes me to

Jira Service Desk Field Configuration Scheme for Project ISD

I cannot locate the field there.  Maybe I am missing another place to look.  Please advise.

Brant,

I was able to find it.  The field had been created from a standard field called Component/s and had been renamed.  This is fed a list from the components page in the JSD project.

Thanks for trying to help.

PS:  I think I am going to remove fields from tickets and add some custom ones that do exactly what I want.
