Jira @mention notifications in Slack?

I am looking for a better (i.e. more immediate) way to be notified when I am mentioned in a Jira Issue - particularly interested in the @mention of myself in the comments.

Slack would be ideal, but I'd settle for a hack in Confluence (I use a macro to query these, but I have to be looking at the page to know about it), desktop notification or even a mobile notification.

Looks like emails are all or nothing, or I'd customize to only receive emails with @mentions of me. Otherwise, they get lost.

We're actively adding features to the Slack integration for Jira Cloud and this particular request has come in several times recently! We've got an issue you can watch and vote for on jira.atlassian.com - API-80 which is the best place to stay in the loop on updates about this feature. Personal notifications for Jira Server are not on the short-term roadmap. Nonetheless, there is an open feature request here specific to Jira Server (the feature is live in Jira Cloud) that you can vote on.
