Hi All,
Can anyone please let me know if there is a way in Jira support desk which we can utilize, and can expose documents inside Jira support desk knowledge base to the end customers without they logging into the jira customer portal.
Basically the customers should not go through any authentication to access the support desk Knowledge base documents and to view them.
As per the current set up they have to login into customer portal to view the docs.
It would be really helpful if you can help us with any workaround solutions in Jira support desk for the above request.
Thanks in Advance!
Best Regards
Karthik
Hi, Karthik.
Basically, Knowledgebase is coming from confluence space. We can suggest you make that space available to the public.
You can enable anonymous access (also known as public access) to that space by granting the 'Use Confluence' permission to 'anonymous' users. An 'anonymous' user is someone who has not logged in to the Confluence site. The 'Use Confluence' permission is also called 'can use'.
You may refer to the below documentation on how to make space publicly access:
Hope it helps. Let me know if you have further question.
Cheers
Suren Raj

Hello @Karthik Sriraman
I suggest you to go through this document which gives step by step explanation of how to setup the knowledge base space
Use the permissions based on "unlicensed users" i.e. customers visiting your JSD tickets can access the knowledge base without counting towards your confluence license.
