Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×I'm currently using JIRA Core and inviting users from Administration User Management. When the user clicks on on the invitation email, it brings them to the JIRA atlassian space, but with no way to view profile. The page is empty and clicking the log in button brings them to the same blank space.
In addition, the user management list shows them as "invitation pending."
They are all already added as people to a JIRA project, but need to be able to log in to view issues.
Chegg,
This sounds like an issue with SSO, do you have your JIRA Cloud instance linked with a Single Sign On provider?
Also, can you check that you've given application permission to the users? That might be the issue as well.
You can do this by navigating to your Administration screen - > Product Access.
Without seeing the email/link/screenshot of screen they are taken to it's hard to diagnose.

Hi Josh,
Our JIRA Cloud is not linked with SSO.
Through the Administration User Management, all of our users experiencing issues have access to the JIRA Core product (the only one we use). They all show as never logged in, but when attempting to login from the invite, that is when they hit the endless loop of blank screens.
I tried to provide them a direct link to our JIRA project, but they received an error message with the following:
Your operation is taking longer than usual
Sorry, your operation is taking longer than usual. Please try again in a few minutes.
If you're still seeing this screen after ten minutes please raise a support request."

Chegg,
Have them use a private browser, which uses no cache/cookies. That sounds like it might be the issue. If they're able to login that way, then have them clear their cache and cookies from their main browser. Other than that, without seeing screenshots I'm not sure and someone else might have to offer a suggestion or contact support.

They requested access, but my administration user management shows they have access already
