Option to move Jira to "Done" status not available.

I have a project that has a simple workflow: 'To Do'/'In Progress'/'Done'. On some issues within the project, it functions as stated above. On other issues, that are built the exact same way, the 'Done' option is not present. 

Investigating the project settings, I can confirm that the workflow is as stated above, yet the option does not exist.

You must have a required field or required to do (like enter time).. look at your workflow and check if you have any validator type fields as a requirement.

I have looked at the workflow settings and no such validator exists.

Hi @John Voita

Validators will allow you to select the transition, but return an error message and prevent the transition from going through if they aren't met.

As you say you cannot select the "Done" option although it should be available, can you check the Conditions for transitions to "Done," instead?

Displaying an issue list, you can see in diagram 1 that "Done" is not an option. Diagram 2, however, does allow "Done" to be selected. Same project. Same issue type. Same workflow. Yet can't select "Done".
