Original estimate is different from remaining time

Hi,

With a recent update of jira, it appears that something is broken, if i add an original estimate duration it updates the time log correctly, if I then edit original time duration the time log doesn't update and has to be manually updated.

Can this be fixed?

There is a bug reported for this : https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-93429

The Remaining estimate is not updated when the Original estimate is updated, even if no time has been logged yet.

With the current product design, it is expected to add the Original Estimate only once, before any time is logged.

Thanks Marc, this isn't what I have seen, I add a original estimate then I edit it as part of sprint planning and it doesn't reflect in the time log so I have to manually edit it, which never used to happen so feels like a bug.

I would say raise it via https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ and see if it will be classified as a Bug
