'Purge Resolved' as post function does not work

Dear All,

I have set 'Purge Resolved' as post function for a workflow transition when an item needs to be re-opened, but it doesn't work, when I re-open the item it just re-sets the resolved date to the current day.

Can you please help as I don't know of another field that I could set?

You have to set the resolution to "none"
