Dear support.
I want to use a project key that has been used before.
The systems tells me "Project 'xxx' uses this project key."
The fact is that this key has beenn used in a project once and then has has been renamed
I already removed the existing key from the database but the error still shows up.
Please HELP!
Kind regards,
Sven Kruse
Hello,
I would not delete anything from the database. But here a ticket in Atlassian and there is a workaround. Kindly read it:
@Sven Kruse I guess , that is how you should do it. But I would check it first on a staging instance

Hi Matveev,
I made a test with a dummy project and the workaround is not working for me.
Here is what I did:
1. I created a new project with the key "XYX"
2. I entered the database via PHPMyAdmin and I search through all tables after that key "XYX"
3. I manually changed that key in each table I found it.
At the end the key "XYX" cannot be found anymore in the database.
But still the project is named after "XYX"

Hi Alexey.
As far as I understand the for me would be like this ...
1. Create a new project with a random key like "XXX"
2. In the database delete the blocked project key from the key table
3. In the database rename the new XXX key with the old key
Is this correct?
