We are comparing different options for creating a shareable, company-wide Roadmap for all of our Products - either within Jira (Advanced Roadmaps, Product Discovery or possibly an add-on app) or external tools with Jira integration (Monday, Miro, Lucid Spark, etc.). My preference would be to use one of the Jira tools, but I'm struggling to find an easy way to have version control of our Roadmap (without downloading each version). Does anyone have suggestions for an option that might work that includes:
- Version Control
- Ability to save versions by Date (ex. see Roadmap as of 1/1 vs 6/1)
- Ability to revert back to a previous version
- Visual Appeal
- Color-coded Gantt chart view
- Ability to view current date line
- Visual indicator of current status
- Visual indicator of dependencies (ex. showing linked blockers)
- Sharable
- Read-only link access (ideally without paying for all Jira users as only some will need it)
- Alternately, ability to export
- Filtering
- Ability to change what is displayed (ex. by Product or by issue level type)
- Ability to export/share with included filtering
- Drag & Drop
- Easily drag and drop to change priority order
- Quickly extend dates of an item on the Roadmap
- Doesn't immediately effect Jira fields (there will be lots of "if this then this" movement) without specifically saving
- Jira as source of truth
- Works across multiple Jira Projects
- Links to Epics
