Hi,
I assigned a number of issues to a sprint , but the sprint still shows empty (FYI- Issues were created before the sprint creation). No issues are visible in the sprint although they are there on backlog. The column under configure option are perfectly mapped. Don't know what's the issue.
Also, if I create a new issue and assign it to my sprint, then that issue is visible. But not for those issues that were created before the sprint.
Please help.
Thanks.
How did you "assign issues to a sprint"? When you go to the backlog, do they show as being in the sprint?
Hi Nic,
Sorry for the confusion. They don't show in backlog too. But they show as individual tickets. See screen shot. MDMI-265 is one of the issue assigned to sprint 7.

That issue is "done", so it won't appear in the sprint or backlog.
The backlog is "things that need doing" - specifically not stuff that is done.

Thanks Nic :) Yup all are 'Done' issues. I tried adding 'In Progress' issues to sprint and it worked.
Thanks.

Nic, one final query... :) Let's suppose I have a ticket in my sprint. As soon as it gets done, will it get vanished? (because a done ticket cannot be visible in sprint). Then will my sprint again gets closed or is it still open?

Ah, no, it will remain on the board until the end of the sprint (unless you've configured the board not to show things in that status, which is a bad thing as it messes up your reports).
When you close the sprint, that's the point at which you say "we did all the things in the right hand column", and that's when a "done" issue stops showing on a board completely.
