Hi Hannena,

If it allows you to drag and drop an issue to the column and then it disappears, you may have a problem either with the filter on the whiteboard or with the sub-filter. Check if the filter or sub-filter is excluding the mapped state.

If it does not allow you to drag issues to the column, check if you have mapped at least one state to the column.

Hi Daniel,

I checked for the filter, and I made these changes but after I click save, next time I reload the page the changes reset. image.png

Hi Haneena,

About the filter you are modifying, are you the owner or do you have editing permissions?

Make sure you have edit permissions on the filter, it is rare that you save a filter but the changes are not retained when you update.

Check that the filter associated with the board is the same as the one you are editing and that you are allowed to "save" and not just "save as".

Other tests you can do is to check permissions and filter from the general tab of the whiteboard itself.

You can view the saved filter, who it is shared with, the owner and the query as relevant data.

If you access the "View Filter Query" action you can view the filter and make added filters from the issues search view, it even keeps the option to save the filter with the "Save Filter" button, but if you are not the owner or you don't have editing permissions you can only save it as a new filter.

So, if you are in this situation, I would recommend that you talk to the owner to review the filter and apply the correct changes. As a last action you could create and save a new filter and from the board settings, if you have permissions to manage the board, you could use a different filter.
