I have team managed project where the board shows below:

Boards can only display up to 5,000 issues at a time. Move or delete issues to continue using your board.

How can i adjust the board settings to show my new issues. Its getting very difficult for me as I cannot run the sprints as well due to above issue.

Please help ASAP!

Hi @Vishal Gogari ,

Yup its a limitation. As suggested, you need to move or delete the old issues.

If you still need the old issues which you dont want to delete, you may create new project to store (to archive) old issues or new project (new version) where you will continue to use for your new/upcoming issues.

Thanks for the response. My other concern is if I move the issues to new project they might loose the parent to child relationship. Also, I can move only 1000 issues in one run.

Can I move all of them together without the limitation of 1000 issues per run

Its also a limitation in filter. You can move group of issues per epic then align to the new project(archive) epic(same name with your active projects epic)

But its more easier to create new project (new version) where you only move the ongoing/needed issues. Let the old project be the archive project.

But its up to you, just make sure every configuration are same with the new project including people.

Hope it helps.
