×Good Day
I have 2 users who are having a bit of trouble on our JIRA when it comes to completing Sprints. They have the permission to Manage Sprints and they are admin on the board level. I have even tried to make the filter simplified but that did not work ether.
Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
hi @Liam Maeder
I would check if they have (Schedule Issues permission and Edit Issues permission)
if that didn't work, I would try adding them as Project Administrators in the Users and Roles and see if that works
I made double sure and they still weren't able...
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Are they able to see "Complete sprint" link on the board? Can you elaborate or share screenshot of the problem to better understand.? Also, you can check the below link, if it helps:

For me the option is visible and blue, but for the two other users it is greyed out, see below:

Thanks for the link, unfortunately it did not help with this problem, I have visited this one before in relation to another board which wouldn't let me complete as there were open issues, but we managed to get it closed.

Ok, as a next step, I would investigate:

1. They have this permission yet they still get this error:
2. They have been given shared rights with the boards and filter.
3. We do use sub-tasks but they don't give me any problems when I complete sprint.

It mentions that 'Manage Sprints' permission should be given in all Projects that are available on this board. You probably have issues from multiple projects on this board. In all of those projects permissions, the users should have 'Manage Sprints' access, only then the 'Complete sprint' would be available.

There was a testing board that we forgot was linked to the project so we deleted it and that made it work

Great. Happy to know that problem has been resolved and thanks for posting it and sharing the same.
