Hi all,

I wanted to change the workflow for an issue type in one project. But it seems that I somehow did change the workflow for the whole Jira.  Is there any convenient way of roll back the workflow to the previous without using the back up?

I wanted to change the workflow for external tasks, but somehow the workflow of userstories is now used for external tasks and vice versa.

I know how to change the workflow in manually, but I am not 100% sure how the workflow was before for user stories exactly, thats why I am looking for an 'easy' way to rol it back.

Thanks for your help

If you updated the existing workflow, you should have been asked whether you wanted to save a backup copy. If you did, you could just set that as the current workflow instead.  (The backup will be among inactive workflows, under the name you set.) If you didn't, I'm not sure there is a way.

Hi Monika,

I did the same . So your answer is helpful. But where do I find the backup?

Thanks

The backups are saved among inactive workflows. Click the "Inactive" link at the bottom left in your list of all [active] workflows and you'll see the inactive ones as well.
