We have Jira Cloud slack integration (as an App) in our Slack account that is watching a specific Jira project. I am no longer a member of that Jira project but I keep getting Slack notifications under "Recent Apps". If I delete the App in my slack client it comes back each time a new Jira ticket is updated. How can I remove and/or mute this app for just me?
Hi @stephen.lawrence , simply closing the conversation with the app won't delete it or the notifications that were set up. You'll need to open that conversation with the app and type `/jira manage`.
That should bring up a list of the subscriptions that were set up and a button to manage your subscription. That button should take you to a page where you can edit / delete them.
If that button doesn't work for you, then a project admin should be able to update yours and all other Slack subscriptions from the Project Settings page.
Hope that helps!
`/jira manage` does not work for me because I am inactive in Jira.
When you mention having an admin update my subscriptions, do you mean a Jira admin, or a Slack admin?

Good question about the admin. They both have the ability to get rid of notifications, but in their own capacity.
A Jira admin would have the ability to delete your individual notifications from the Project Settings page of the Jira project.
A Slack admin would be able to uninstall / reinstall the app from the Slack workspace, which would also delete all notifications across the Slack workspace.

Re: the Slack admin, if they uninstall/re-install this would impact all users, not just me, correct?

I ended up having to get the Jira admin to re-enable my account so that the `/jira manage` command would work. Once they did that, I was able to remove my subscription.
