Upgrade Confuence

ive Confluence 6.0.2 on linux i want to update to the latest version ,whats the best scenario for that !!!!

In this scenario I would do the following:

1. Read the read realease notes of each version between your current and the latest version   to understand changes to the version you are upgrading to. This is useful for know what changed.
2. Read the software requirements for the version you are upgrading to. This is useful for understanding if you need to change any software the application depends on e.g. Database version or JAVA version. - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/supported-platforms-207488198.html
3. Check your add-on compatibly. Upgrade any all add-ons to the latest compatible one. This is useful for preventing data incompatibility when upgrading. - https://confluence.atlassian.com/upm/checking-app-compatibility-with-application-updates-273875705.html
4. Setup a test instance that is a clone of your production
5. Follow the Atlassian upgrade steps to up to upgrade the test confluence to the latest version. - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/upgrading-confluence-4578.html
6. Upgrade your add-ons to compatible ones.
7. Test to make sure confluence works.
