Watcher problem

Hi, 

One of the single users have this permissions on Service desk project (he has software licence) 

• Browse Projects
• Assign Issues
• Create Issues
• Edit Issues
• Resolve issues
• Edit issues
• Link issues
• Transition issues
• Manage Watchers
• View Voters and Watchers
• Add Comments
• Delete Own Comments
• Edit Own Comments
• Create Attachments
• Delete Own Attachments
• Delete Own Worklogs
• Edit Own Worklogs
• Work On Issues

But can't add watcher to the issue (User XXX  is not allowed to add watchers to issue 'task number'

Is that user under the service desk agent project role?

And one more thing is that manage watcher permission, browse user permission

Hello Fuad,

As an administrator did you tried the Permission Helper ?

• Goes to the issue
• Admin button next to workflows button
• Permission Helper
• Choose the user you want information and "Manage Watchers" as Permission

If you have the result:

Status: User has the 'Manage Watchers' permission.

It means it should work. I am sorry I don't know why he can't manage watchers.
May be someone else can help you.
