We are developing hatecholo by a developer company Genesys softwares. The agreement is made between hatecholo and Genesys that the task management will be done through Jira. The Jira project is viewable by both the parties. But I feel we have failed to make the best use of this project management tool jira.
Hi @Mohammad Moslem Uddin Sikder
Maximizing the use of Jira for your project between Hatecholo and Genesys Softwares can indeed streamline your development process, ensure transparency, and enhance collaboration. Here are some strategies to make the best use of Jira:
Hi Maria,
Assalamu alaikum and a very good day. I am glad to hear from you regarding the best use of jira for my software project hatecholo development.
Can you help me to review the existing configuration and improve to get the insight and jira reports to evaluate the performance of the developers who are engaged here.
If you agree I will send you a meeting link on MS Team. In that case I need your email address.
Best wishes.

Hi Mohammad - This would involve a fairly detailed response based on your actual environment and implementation.
Basically, the tool should implement your Agile practices/processes and not determine or drive those practices.
Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn.

Hi @Mohammad Moslem Uddin Sikder
Could you provide us more information on how you've set this up so far?
What do you feel like is missing in your current use of the tool? :)

Hi @Mohammad Moslem Uddin Sikder,
Working together, on software or other projects, always goes beyond a tool. It requires a good idea of what you are trying to do, who is doing the work, what methods you use and how you and your team are familiar with those. And yes, in the end there's also the tools you use to help you manage and follow up. A tool can be as silly / simple as sticky notes on a wall, a whiteboard and markers, to an agile project management tool like Jira.
The best practice is the practice that best fits your team and that supports your way of working and has the potential to grow along. But even more important is the way you work together as a team and make each other / your practices better.
You may want to look into Atlassian's micro blog site the agile coach. Not because it is the best reference on agile in the world necessarily, but because it does a pretty good job at explaining agile practices and how you can use Atlassian tools (like Jira) to support an agile way of working.
Hope this helps!
