I'm trying to migrate to the cloud from a self-hosted server.

When I select "Migrate to cloud" the page is blank apart from the menus.

How can I procede?

Hi @Barrie Walker ,

there might be a problem with firewall allowance. Check your firewall configuration according to this documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/preparing-your-firewall-to-migrate-using-the-jira-cloud-migration-assistant-1026058250.html

Also maybe try to check the network tab in developer console (F12 in your browser) to see, whether there are some calls going on when clicking on the Migrate to cloud tab.

Hi @Adam Rypel _MoroSystems_ ,

Thanks so much for your reply.

I'm embarrassed to admit I'm not entirely sure what I'm to check wrt the firewall requirements. If it's the ip6tables firewall that's meant I'm pretty sure nothing necessary is blocked.

Using the developer console on the debugger tab I get
Paused on exception
Error: A response outside OK range (200-299)
at batch.js:26
On the network tab there are certainly things that look wrong but they all look internal.

I'm afraid I have an engagement for the rest of the evening so won't be able to interact further for at least a few hours. Really appreciate the help.

Hi @Barrie Walker ,

Maybe try this solution first, I think I met with this problem in the past and this helped: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-cloud-migration-assistant-returns-a-blank-screen-after-its-update-due-to-an-issue-with-analytics-client-plugin-1271268148.html

Also ideally check Jira application logs - replicate the issue, note the time of that and check the logs from that time for some errors. You can access logs directly on server or by generating support zip: https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/create-a-support-zip-790796819.html

Thank you for your help. I thought I had already replied. I must not have pressed send, sorry.

The first suggestion turned out not to help - but worth the try.

The logs are dense. Happily, the issue has been taken up by Support.

Thank you again.
