Workflow rule: Assign ticket to the previous owner after a status change.

Hi everyone,

as per the title, i'm having some troubles to create a rule to assign a ticket to his previous owner. Workflow looks like this:

 

TO DO --> IN PROGRESS --> VALIDATION -->[Ticket is assigned to me using a rule]

now, depending on the validation outcome, the ticket might be moved to "DONE' or back to "IN PROGRESS' if validation fails. In this specific case i need a rule to reassign the ticket to the previous owner. Searching in some posts here on the community i've seen that in the past there was a specific selection for the rule (Transition-->Assign ticket-->Previous owner), but looks like that this action is not available anymore, or at least is not available on my board:

What am I missing?

Hello Nicolas, thanks for your reply.

As mentioned, I already stumbled on this post, and unfortunately the option "Previous owner" is not selectable in my board. Also, there's a comment that post dated March 2024 from user @Tijs Tijert which reports the exact same issue i have!

 

I appreciate your answer, but it doesn't help much, sadly :)
