bulk delete in next gen project

I do not find bulk delete possibility in next gen project. Is this possible at all. I have some 500 unwanted stories that I need to delete (importing wrong issues)

I think the bulk delete feature and the type of project should not be associated. Have you ever tried bulk deletion in the search issue function?

That is not an option in the Jira Next Gen project that I am using currently. The old Jira setup gives the possibility

I am not sure about your problem, but I can still jump to the Advaced search page by the way below, query the issues in the next-gen project and delete them in bulk edit.

Thanks for the answer. It seems so that I am able to set the queries in the advanced search but still missing any possibility to bulk edit or bulk delete any issues at my backlog. I am not sure if I have to enable some additional features or something to be able to do so? I do have admin rights as the owner for the project.

Actually the instructions helped me a lot! Finally I discovered that you have to select View all Issues from the advanced search to open up the query and then you are able to bulk edit all the issues find with the query. Now I got it!!

What's the point of not being able to bulk-change issues in the backlog of a next-gen project?

Atlassian, please fix this.

Not being able to multi-select stories in the backlog and then delete them is ridiculous.
