Weird problem: bulk edit send email checkbox missing for one user on some projects but not others. He says other team members have the option on all projects. As an admin, I see the option on the projects. Setup:
I've verified by switching to his account that on project DAD the checkbox is present, and on project RAM the checkbox is NOT present.
Any ideas what could be different between the two projects for just one user?
Ken. According to the documentation, the option is available only to users, who are Jira or the project admins. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRACORESERVER083/Editing+multiple+issues+at+the+same+time
I could not find the document for your version of Jira, but the same exists for version 6. My guess is in 7.13 is the same way.
Thanks, but that doesn't answer the question.
The question is NOT about who can do bulk changes.
The user IS a project admin on BOTH projects
The user has standard jira access, and as per the Global Permission seeting, has access to do bulk edits.
And, most importantly, the user CAN DO the bulk edit on both projects.
The link you sent says "You can disable mail notifications for a particular bulk operation by deselecting the Send Notification checkbox in the bulk operation wizard."
The problem is that the checkbox is NOT available when he does bulk edit in one project, but it IS available when he does bulk edit in a different project.

@Ken Wood Hi Ken,
I'm in an identical situation with one of my users. Were you able to find a resolution to this issue?
Thanks,
Kamran
