My jira version is 8.4.1
When I use restapi, I can successfully upload the file, but the attachment cannot be seen in the servicedesk
Is there any way to upload attachments to ServiceDesk so that customers can see this attachment
ps: The language I am most familiar with is Java
there is also a workaround detailed here : https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-43
"As a workaround, if you can turn on wiki rendering for comments, you can get attachments to display for the customer by putting wiki code in a comment when you upload the file.
[^some-file.pdf]"
Dam.
I will try this way
But I just checked the information, it seems that both rest api and servicedesk api can achieve this effect
I will try these two methods first
Thank you

Hi,
There is an add-on to do that, it also add a lot of features to your JSM project (Jira Service Desk has been rename as Jira Service Management)... the add-on is called : Extension for Jira Service Management
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212161/extension-for-jira-service-management?hosting=server&tab=overview
cheers,
Dam.

I think it is not necessary to purchase a new plugin to complete this function...Thank you for your reply

this add-on has really a lot of useful and cool features, but it can display attachments in a "sexy" way also ;)
