Hi!

This could be done on purpose.

To check why is this configured this way you can do this:

  • Ask your administrator (or the other administrators if you are one and there are more).
  • Go to the board configuration and see how is it configured. (If you are not an administrator and it is not your board, you can't do this so get back to option 1 😅).

This is how a board can be configured:

So maybe in your board will be a column named "DONE DONE" and there could be some statuses.

Also, the issue resolution can be a cause of this.

Hope it helps!

Marcos

Hi,

You should check your workflow then.

As I can see, you have a flow with something like "To Do -> In Progress -> Done -> Closed". So you can rename the column to "Closed", I think it's useless to have a "Done" and a "Done Done" if statuses are "Done" and "Closed" ...

Also, refering to the "issue" that you talk about with CS-64, you could check at its resolution (because maybe it's unresolved) as @Jack Brickey said.

Marcos

There are two approaches:

  1. Add a Post Function to your WF(s) to set the resolution to Done
    1. edit each WF associated w/ the project (use diagram mode)
    2. double-click each transition into Closed
    3. open the Post Functions screen
    4. Add a post function to set the issue field and select Resolution and Done.
    5. publish the WF
  2. Force the user to specify the resolution value when closing.
    1. Create, if you don't currently have one, a screen that displays the Resolution field. Save the screen giving it a name e.g. "Resolution on Close".
    2. edit each WF associated w/ the project (use diagram mode)
    3. double-click each transition into Closed
    4. assign the "Resolution on Close" screen to the transition
    5. add a validate step require a resolution step

#1 is nice a clean and no one has to worry w/ setting the resolution but the downside is that ALL resolutions will = Done which isn't generally reality. #2 overcomes the downside of #1.

NOTE: in either case be sure if you have a 'reopen' transition that you add a post function to those transitions to clear the Resolution value.
