In my current Jira application, i have an option for creating projects in New-gen projects, if i opt to start using that will it apply any additional charges / pricing. Or it is a in-build service for the exisitng Jira application
it is included in the base product.
Thanks. But if i integrate with Bitbucket then i will have charges applicable.
I'm looking for improving the dashboard screen for better monitoring. Can you help me if any options other than in-build gadgets without going for pay tools /services

Could you explain why you think you would be charged extra for using functions that are part of the core product that you're already paying for?
If you choose to use "options other than in-build gadgets", then there is a good chance you will be charged for using them.

Probably not the best way to ask that question, as I find myself searching for solutions where the common answer is - despite the functionality being core to the product in question - use X add-on (and pay for it).

Yes, I think you're right when I re-read it. It's quite a complex sentence.
When you're looking for functions the core product does not do, yes, you need add-ons, usually paid. The question I ask was to try to establish why someone might think they have to pay for functions they already have.

Next-Gen projects are just a different project type (sort of) in Jira. The only way I would see the use of Next-Gen projects impacting prices for add-ons would be if you had to add or could remove add-ons based on any lacking or new functionality (respectively). Otherwise, nothing would change in regards to your current pricing. Since most of the pricing for Jira and any add-ons tends to be user/license-based, and Next-Gen projects still require the same licensure as you use today, again, there should be no material impact to pricing (again, with the exception being if you added/removed add-ons - or users).
