×I deleted some add-ons that our team thought they didn't need or use anymore but they changed their mind and now want the add-ons back.
Some of the data within Jira was tied to the use of these add-ons, but I can't find any information within the KB or here in the community regarding the recovery of deleted add-ons.
I see recovery questions about tickets, projects, etc. but nothing specific to add-ons. Can someone confirm for me if re-installing the add-on is all that's needed since the data in the database or Jira home & installation folders has not been altered?
I resolved this myself, I just had to re-install the add-on and everything automatically continued to work as before...for the record this add-on was the Tempo Timesheets.
Most plugins do not bother to add uninstall hooks. This is a double-edged sword.
On one edge, we have the ability to re-install without losing data.
On the other edge, we have an ever growing amount of old plugin data sticking around forever.
(On the cloud side, data is stored by the vendor on vendor-owned hardware, not atlassian - pay attention to their privacy and data retention policies!)
