Sorting Issues Manually vs. by Priority vs. Issue Number

I used to be able to drag and drop Issues in the Planning board and it would be reflected in the Task board. Now, it is not saving the order that I have arranged them in and is reverting to numerical order.

How do I manually order issues?

How do I sort issues by priority (or other criteria)?

When using the the Rapid Board you can create a filter that order the issues by priority.

When ordering the issues manually make sure that a ranking field is used.
