Having problem where commit is linked to the JIRA issue but the command isn't processing the issue's status. For instance: 'Project-324 #Resolve' is shown in 'Commits' tab but status from 'Open' to 'Resolve' isn't changed.

How to fix it?

Hello Povka,

Are you able to perform other Smart Commit operations such as #comment or #time? This could be caused by as mismatch between your JIRA user email address and the email set on your Git/Mercurial client, as those need to be the same so JIRA can identify the user who's performing the Smart Commit operation.

I recommend you to read the following page for further information on the DVCS connector and Smart Commits, and how to make sure your setup is configured properly:

Processing JIRA issues with commit messages

Hope it helps!

Regards,
Marlon

Many Thanks!

Solved the problem. There were few user accounts with the same email adress in JIRA.
