Unable to add users to a project role

Hello Team,

I am trying to add users to a given project in users and roles. But I am unable to do so, as it is throwing some error. I have attached the screen shot of the error. Also, when I researched this error on the internet, the cause of this is likely to be redundant issue types in project. So when I executed the query to check if there any redundant issue types, the result was nil. I have also tried background re-indexing. 

Please let me know the resolution for this if anyone of you have encountered the same issue.

You could also observe the application logs while performing the action to diagnose the issue.
