We are experiencing issues commenting on any issue w/ code blocks in the comment. The error we're receiving is
We couldn't save your comment
It might be empty, too long, or have invalid formatting. If you copy-pasted, try removing the formatting and adding it directly in the editor

Meanwhile, you can try to workaround this behavior by adding the comment through the full issue view (as stated in the bug report).

This does not appear to be related to the special characters bug (the text is just 20 lines of JSON with no URLs). Adding it through the full issue view errors out with the same message.
