Hello,
I have created a scrum board, workflow etc. and our backlog is ready when I click on "Work" mode of the scrum board I see all the tasks and the stories but I cannot move the stories in different "columns" can anyone please help.
Thanks,
Fozan
There was an issue with the workflow it seems like when the sprint starts only then sub-task should be created in order to move them in work mode. Also we created a filter too which only showed "stories" being moved across the board.
Just to add this is also a bug in JIRA, there is a ticket open with Atlassian to look into this.

I would look in your workflow to see that you are able to tranistion the issue into the new state. Sometimes there are conditions set that can prevent it from moving. You can check out:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Workflow
If you're using the Simplified Workflow, check out:

David thanks for the quick response, i looked into workflow and it only shows "properties" on the right column when i click on a stauts. I have checked all the statuses and have not seen a link for "Condtion". I can move an issue from one column to another as long as I do not have a sub-task. Issues which do have a sub-task do not move as I can only move the sub-task.
What should I do? There is no help on Atlassian University either.
