Using Crowd with JIRA 7

Looking at the online promotional literature, I get the feeling the JIRA 7 (JIRA Software) is intended to be used for managing user accounts across Atlassian products. We've been using Crowd for this, primarily for SSO. If we drop Crowd and use JIRA 7 to manage users, will we loose SSO?
