Using Filter ID in JQL Query in Automation

Lael H October 3, 2024

I have a predefined filter and want to use that in an automation.  I enter the filter ID and validate the query.  However, it has an issue when running.  I looked at this previous question and it just doesn't work.  What am I missing?

Hello

The filter is correctly configured, but I recommend checking the filter's read permissions. Ensure that the person running the automation has access to the filter, as it might be set to private. If the filter was created by someone else, verify that it is shared with the relevant team or project.

OMG!  I totally missed that.  All filters have the right security.  But I wasn't running it as an actor who has that security.

Thank you!!
