×Hey, folks!
We'd love to hear your thoughts based on your own experiences.
How long do you think someone should be inactive before we take away their license and/or deactivate them? We're looking for your insights to find the sweet spot. Let us know what you think!
I don't believe that there is an optimal number for this. At least not one that applies to all instances. I would certainly consider flagging someone that hasn't been on in six months. And certainly if it were a year, I would deactivate without question. In a previous company my process was as follows.
There is no universal answer. Everything depends from your company policy.
For example in my company, user is deactivated in the process of his dismissal, no need to wait for days or weeks.
If it's needed, user can be activated again in a short time.
But can be situation, that account is active for some time, after dismissal, because user is reassigning tasks, closes activities etc.

Determining an exact timeframe for user inactivity can be somewhat subjective, and our approach at our organization typically involves considering a period of 3-6 months. However, it's important to note that the ideal duration may vary depending on your specific license count and organizational requirements.
For efficiently managing user activity and implementing bulk suspension of product access, we offer a complimentary application. This tool is designed to streamline the process by identifying inactive users and allowing you to suspend access to products in bulk, providing a convenient and effective solution for your administrative needs.
