Why does my project not have the epic label field on issues?

I have two projects, both greenhopper enabled, both using the 'GreenHopper Scrum Issue Type Scheme'. One has all the expected fields on stories including business value and 'epic, the other does not. I have compared everything I can in the project administration but can find no differences.

Another difference is that on the planning board for the working project colours for stories/epics are purple/red and on the non-working project they are yellow/green - not sure if this is relevant as I am not the only one with access and someone may have changed colours.

Final question is that when I first started looking at the project it was greenhopper enabled but was using the Default issue scheme - there were already some issues created before it was switched to the greenhopper scheme, could this be the problem? If so, how do I force conversion of the existing issues? This seemed to happen when changing the scheme as there were some Features under the old scheme that got converted to Epics. I have tried creating new issues but they too have the wrong fields.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Trevor

Hi,

It sounds like you have not configured the non-working project for the Scrum template. To do so go to the planning board for the project, in the Tools menu choose Configuration. Under the General Tab, set the Project template to Scrum.

Thanks,

Shaun
