Why my issue is not coming in backlog.

When i create an issue then it will go directly to the open issue. i want those in my backlog.

Hi @abhishekk ,

Can you confirm whether you want issue to be in Backlog status or whether to be in Backlog of the board.

If it is Backlog status, you need to add new status to workflow.

If it is board backlog, you need to configure board columns according to your workflow.

When i create an issue that directly go to my open issue list and not going in my backlog then i go to open issue list and change the status of that story into inprogress then it will show.

Is has to do with how your statuses are mapped. In your workflow what is the initial status from the create transition? What status is mapped to your backlog? Also, how/where are you creating the issue?

workflow defined and start from To Do.

How can i define the status mapped in backlog?

Issue creating inside the epic and sprint is linked into it.

Hi @abhishekk are you using a Scrum board or a Kanban board ?

Earlier i was configured Kanban but now i am using Scrum Board.
