I copied an existing filter, renamed it for a new project and changed the Project filter from 'CAP' to 'PLAYOUT' via the menu. It does NOT update. What might be the problem?
I have restarted CHrome, emptied the cache, etc. Tried half a dozen times - it always displays with the original value of 'CAP'.
AND project = CAP

Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Once you update the JQL expression in your filter, you need to run the search. Then Save it using the Save option on the far right. (Only filter owners can save it).
Once you save it, you should see the new project name every time you return to the filter. Have you done these steps already?
Thanks!
Thank you for guidance. The answer was correct and helpful. I also found that when copying and altering a filter, it is helpful to remove all parameter values from parameters whose values may be illegitimate for other parameter settings, so that JIRA doesn't kick into JQL mode.

Have you tried only copying the JQL statement into a new filter instead of copying the whole filter?

Hi
Thanks for reaching out!
Is it possible for you to upload a screenshot of your JQL and what you're seeing when you try to change the project value? That would help us better understand the issue and provide more accurate support.
