cannot set up administrator

I've installed JIRA and now I'm trying to set it up. I'm at the section where it asks me to set up an administrator account, but when I fill in everything and click next it gives me the following error: Cannot add user, all the user directories are read-only. I can't find any directories anywhere to change to read/write. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi Erin,

What database are you using. If you are using postgres, you may try updating the jdbc driver as advised in this thread
