change Issue status from mobile

We would like to change issue types from a mobile using the mobile version of JIRA.

I know it is possible by switching to desktop view, but this is not god in terms of user experience.

We would like to have the status change button available in the mobile view.

Is there any way to achieve this ?

Could you clarify if this is Jira Cloud or Jira Server?

If this is Jira Cloud, I would recommend using the official Jira Cloud mobile app

If Jira Server, then this is unfortunately not possible yet in the mobile view.  There is an existing feature request for this, that I have updated today.  Please see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-33125 for more details.   I agree this would be a nice feature to have in the mobile view, however it does not appear that Jira Server currently offers this ability yet.

In the meantime, there are a number of other 3rd party vendors that offer solutions to this.  I would recommend searching our Marketplace site for such solutions.

Unfortunately, I do not think this is possible, yet.

However, the JIRA Mobile App has been developing at a quicker rate and currently allows status transition.
