Hi,
On my kanban board I have 8 items in progress but when I go to Board>configure>column and i noticed that my "in progress" column shows 9 items but I can only see 8. How can I find the hidden item ?
Hello @Yetunde Adefaye
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
Are you workin with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? That information will show at the bottom of the panel on the left when you view the kanban board.
You can use the Advanced Issue Search screen to search for issues in the Statuses mapped to that column. Your search filter would need to include the other criteria used by the filter for your board.
If you are working with a Company Managed Software project Kanban board the board may also have a subfilter applied. By default Kanban boards get a subfilter to hide issues that have the Fix Version set to a Version that has been Released.
Another possibility is, if you are using a Team Managed project, then you are seeing only the base level issues in that status, and there is additionally a Subtask issue in the same status. Subtasks are not displayed on the Team Managed project board unless you have the Group By option set to Subtasks.
Hi Yetunde - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Can you share a screenshot of your Board settings to include your board filter? You might have 9 items in that status, but one might be in an issue type that is not used by the board (i.e. not in the filter).
