I recently ran into this issue working with a client, and running the install_fontconfig.sh in /bin fixed the issue for us.  We were also seeing a notice about fonts not being installed as well in the environment, which was also resolved.

hi

issue solved by changing native java used by Jira

Matias Vivas June 7, 2022

pls can you give more details? how do you do it, for which version of jira? to which jre?

Nairi salma June 7, 2022

Hi

this problem is solved by changing default jdk used by  8.22.2 jira  version

thanks

Matias Vivas June 7, 2022

my jira 8.22 comes with jre 11.0.13, which version you propose?

Nairi salma June 15, 2022

we didn't use the default jre provided by jira

we installed oracle jdk 11 on the system and changed JAVA_HOME on setenv.sh to point to new JDK

this solution solved all issues related to jre ( plugin starting, Fonts, database monitoring ...)

Thanks
