hipchat is out of date

Every time I log into my hosted JIRA, in the upper right corner it says:

HipChat Integration is out of date

Update to take full advantage of the latest features.

Update Now!

Clicking Update Now! takes me to a page where it wants me to set up HipChat integration.  I don't use HipChat and I probably never will – I want this box to go away FOREVER, please.  Is there any way to make it think its updated without having to set up some nonsense?

You can disable the HipChat add-ons in JIRA and re-index jira.

Because I'm using Atlassian Cloud, HipChat is considered an 'essential' plugin and I cannot disable it.
