how can I hide or minimze the Structure part in the "issue detail view" ?

I found a reference to disabling this in their documentation under "Optional Features":

1. In the administration area of JIRA, go to the section called (in 8.x+) "Manage Apps" where you can install, update, or disable apps\plugins.
2. Find and expand the "Structure" entry, so that you see the licence details, etc. and click on the link to the right that reads "X of Y Modules Enabled" (for me it's "405 out of 407"). This will expand a list of plugin modules directly below this section.
3. Find the module named "web-resource:Issue Page Decorator (adjustIssue)" and disable it.

Note that there's also a module named "web-resource:Issue Page Decorator Conditional" - disabling this was not necessary for me.
