I was able to remove the collaborators via Tempo Time Sheets.

Is this the JIRA ServiceDesk Collaborator you are talking about? Have a read:

sorry, no, i forgot to mention it's in Portfolio. Actually, I just figured it out via Tempo Timesheets so I'm ok.
