how to unlock a custom field

how we can unlock a locked custom field. one custom field is locked and not able to do any operation like delete , configure etc...

Hi guys, how can I unlock a locked custom field (e.g. Epic name) if I use an OnDemand Version of Jira? Any clue?

I'm not sure how to unlock a field in onDemand, but you'd probably be better off submitting this in a new question instead of taking this one over.
