We are in the process of setting up a new Jira On Demand instance and would really like to import all of the tickets and content from the old system.
We are currently using Request Tracker which can easily create tickets in excel, or text files. I know this functionality existed in downloadable version by I am yet to find it in the On Demand.

It appears I may have got ahead of myself here - we are still testing the Jira Importer plugin to make sure it works with OnDemand properly. so Bob's link is the one to use for now.
