post-condition transition doesn't appear in board immediately

Back before JMWE was not directly part of cloud edition, I had some post conditions  that would transition parent issues.  Those transitions used to happen instantly when viewing the board. 

It appears now that the transitions occur, but you have to hit F5 to see the parent move.  Is there something I can do to get those transitions to appear instantly again?

Unfortunately, this is a consequence of the design of Atlassian Connect, the framework that supports add-ons for Atlassian Cloud products. In order to make sure no add-on could prevent transitions from working, and that JIRA performance could scale, Atlassian made all post-functions provided by add-ons asynchronous, which means that they are run some time after the transition finishes.

Did this change when they made JMWE not part of the core cloud package?

Note that JMWE was never really part of JIRA Cloud - it was a special version of our JMWE for JIRA Server product that was "bundled" with JIRA Cloud and, for technical reasons, never became "paid-via-Atlassian" as it should have.
